- Additionally, as a downstream user Sika is a manufacturer of products (mixtures), and checks that only (pre-)registered substances are used.
- Sika also imports substances, and in this case has the role of the registrant.
- Under REACH, Sika manufactures some of its own substances. These will also be registered.
Sika Products have been assessed, ranked and classified regarding REACH, and all steps for REACH have been initiated. The REACH customer information informs about the status of the Sika Group for meeting the requirements of the REACH regulation for registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals.
